Prime Crime Mystery Bookstore is a tiny perfect place to scout out the latest in the mystery and crime fiction genre or find your old favourites or just chew the fat about what's happening. We're located in Ottawa, at 891 Bank Street, in the Glebe. If you look hard you'll find us sandwiched in between Irene's Pub and Mexicali Rosa's. The skeleton in the window will be your first clue!

Once you're in, relax in the big chair, and run your fingers over the latest books on the table. Stretch a bit, check out our selection of new and backlist hardcovers and paperbacks. Our selection of previously enjoyed mystery fiction offers you an opportunity to sample new writers and scout out old favourites who may be out of print.

We're always happy to keep an eye out for authors and titles for you or to special order books. Also, we'd be happy to alert you when a new title arrives.
